'Who doesn't want a puppy for Christmas?' UGH!

I hate how the puppy said that in the commercial. Getting a puppy for christmas is a terrible idea. Dogs are a lifetime commitment not a christmas present! Plus the holidays are way too busy to have a baby puppy around. Way to Air Buddies, promote irresponsible dog ownership!

me? No did you read my post?? I love dogs more than anything, I want them to go to only responsible committed people though.

I do agree, though pets as Christmas presents isn't irresponsible if the recipient is aware of the gift, it's carefully planned out, and in the case of a larger pet such as a dog or cat, personally picked out and not just a surprise.

I'm all against having "pets for Christmas" and "Get a puppy for the kid" But I do know one guy who went out and purchased a puppy for his girl-friend and tied a ribbon around it's neck one christmas with a ring and note that said "Will you Marry Me?" It was so sweet, and they still have the puppy (and the marriage of course) till this day (about 6 + years)
