I'm sorry but I watch this show every year and this year I was very dissapointed. The best show was the 2006 show with Justin Timberlake as the guest. That show had so much energy and the music was great on that show from beginning to end. It was like a rock concert.

I thought the opening of the 2008 show lacked the energy that previous shows had and it seemed to remain that way for the entire show. I was very dissapointed in all the music, i thought it was very boring and it lacked bass. It just didnt pump me up and it wasn't runway music at all.

I also didn't like the way the catwalk was positioned, I like it when it comes out into the audience.

I think it had alot of potential, I liked the "Old Hollywood glamour" theme it just didn't seem to pan out that way.

I also think the makeup artists made the model's faces to shiny, They looked overly bronzed borderline dirty looking and their faces looked really shiny and greasy looking. Adriana Lima's face was too brown looking.

I really hope the people that are in charge of the fashion show realize its lackluster and strive to improve it next year.

I agree. I wasn't too impressed. I loved '05 and '06 show but this year and last was eh.

I'm a gay male and I watch this show every year because I love the whole production aspect of it all. This year's show was very basic and bare bones. Even the audience looked bored. I was more into what happened backstage than on stage.

This year the models seemed more relaxed and playful, but some of the new ones were very rigid and stiff and it was uncomfortable watching them.

And the catwalk, WTF?

I miss the older shows :(

I was also dissapointed. The positioning of the catwalk was so odd and some of the models were too much with the blowing kisses and dancing in the middle of their walks. I thought the best walks were done by Isabeli Fontana,Carmen Kass, Angela Lindval, Emanuela de Paula, and Sessilee Lopez. Overall, the last segement was the best, redeeming the previous portions.

Exactly.The biggest dissapointment.
I mean what was the thing with the slow music but the models almost running on the catwalk. Like someone said ealier the music was boring,the show was boring and the new models were nothing special.I thought they were the first time on a runway. I mean I remember the 2005 show where I just couldn't take my eyes of any model,because they were soooo pretty and walked like they should.Indeed the make up was ordinary and I really didnt like their hair at all.
And I don't know what to say, every year it gets worse. I was such a fan but honestly I'm not looking forward for the next one. I know I'm complaining too much but I guess thats what you do when you are used to see a fabulous show. And this year I totally missed the Gisele of '05.No one had her class even though I know that Gisele is not the prettiest but she had something that all these models dont have.I missed also the professionalism of some(Karolina,Adriana etc)First it was sweet to blow a kiss once or twice or do something unexpected but now it is just getting ridiculous. Last thing: WHO came up with the stupid side-catwalk-thing or whatever that was??? It just looked stupid

I'm thinking the weird catwalk had to do with how the room was built. It was just renovated and did you notice how the wall behind the orchestra was transparent? So I guess the audience was supposed to have a view of the hotel behind the models or something?

Fame was like a drug. But what was even more like a drug were the drugs.

This show was very dissapointing. I liked the rose petals caoning down. The side runway was terrible. The music wasn't a great as it was previously. The thing I can compliment the show on was the fashion. I loved the glamour look.

All I need is one mic!

I never thought I would be bored watching women in their underwear but I was during this. The show has gotten worse every year. I couldn't believe how much backstage footage they showed,I know they do that every year but it was out of hand this year. They would cut away at odd times,Adriana was walking in the fantasy bra and they cut away to a model singing into a hairbrush. All the dancing was just ridiculous. The opening was boring,they barely showed what the models were wearing and they need a new musical director stat. The music just didn't work this year. I miss the cool remixes VS used to have.

My Complaints are:

-Too much pointing, it was okay when Adriana did it once a show but now she does it all the time and some of the other models started doing it, it was cringing when she did it twice in the first segment with usher

-The music was so so, the only song that was walkable was "Yeah" by usher and the song they played during the PINK segment

-The models this year lacked an all-star lineup I miss the previous angels and supermodels (GISELLE, TYRA, NAOMI, IZABEL,..) the only ones that stand out now are (HEIDI, ALESSANDRA AND KAROLINA) they had an OOMPH these new girls seem to lack

-Marissa Miller and Doutzen Kruise have a so-so walk and Marissa seemed to be sprinting down the runway

-Not enough Wings, I know thats a not so important aspect but it was in every other show and thats what distingushed their runway from others

-Again get more girls that stand out and girls that are more appealing to the masses because this is a show is watched by a majority of people who would choose Pamela Anderson over Kate Moss

-By far 2005 was the best show and I agree with the poster that said theirs no-one that can hold a candle to Giselle

-The energy, poise and professionalism in the 2005 show somewhat carried into the 2006 show and the 2007 show started to wane and now were stuck with a rushed show were theirs no order

-Lastly MAKE THE CATWALK GO INTO THE AUDIENCE GEEZ! The hotel could still have been visible if they made them go into the audience, the sideways catwalk was not innovative and it was confusing with so many people going back and forth.

I thought I was the only who noticed the lack of wings. That's Victorias Secret's trademark and this year's show only had 7 pair.
