And about the movie

Movie was fine... Acting am suprised that Katrina did fine...She wasnt as bad as she is... Atleast she made an effort... John wasnt bad either, that doesnt mean he was good...He was just okay

I saw it yesterday.

1/10

Worst acting performances ever.

Neil was surprisingly bad, not because he wasn't trying but he just can't act in such a role. Abraham should stick with comedies and light hearted roles. He looked rather ordinary. Kaif is just a very bad actor. Irfan is saving grace.

get a life benighted. this movie is good, go for it.as for john's nude scene its nothing big at all just him getting tortured.

reply

if this same film with the same acting had hollywood white trash actors then you would be ranting and raving about the film!

the film is 8/10 very well made...

ending is very powerful, it made the film, if it wasnt for the climax scene it would be like a 6/10

I hate most hollywood films. Stop trying to sterotype me. You sound like a dimwit. John and Kat had the chemistry of siblings. John is so ugly and you guys make such a fuss about the nude scenes and the acting is so amateur. Neil was distractingly bad. There are many fill in the blanks in the story and for most of you who've never seen New York, or can't afford it, the film will stand good. You all sound like small time dreamers readily blinded by a film like NEW YORK which has no logic or sound direction.

Speed, Im really not that kind of person but since you have chosen to think that way of me, I really can't say much. But this is not about me, it is about the film. Kat looked horrid, acted horrid, she's sad.

I saw it yesterday, and it's excellent. My friends who have seen it agree.

It was pretty good...the acting suffered a few times but its a nice film to see once. Plus I think John Abraham is showing some signs of improvements, he's not quite reached that "Brad Pitt level" (i.e. actors who have model looks but can surprisingly act) but at least he's getting somewhere.

reply

I just saw the film and it was alright. But katrina kaif is overacting and when she speak hindi, its sounds terrible and looks like she is killing herself to speak. But John was good! Some scenes reminded me of some other movies but it's worth watching. And guys remember, few few few good bollywood movies so this will get a 6/10

Slow moving, and the actors aren't great. Also, why do US-located Hindi movies always have such horrible American actors? But none of that bothered me as much as the inaccuracies in the American justice system. If these kind of detnetions took place on US soil, it's news to me. I thought that was the very reason the US detained suspects in Guantanamo and Baghdad, because US laws prohibit torture and unlawful detention. It would have been better if they showed Samir and the others being detained in Guantanamo.

I think Katrina is pretty, but nowhere near as beautiful as everyone in India seems to. I think Priyanka, Aishwarya, and others are much more beautiful and much better at acting too. Overall 3.5/10

This was a terrible film to me, but you might like it. It was more like an extended music video than a feature film. A much better film on this subject is The War Within with Sarita Choudhury.
