Beautiful

Dont you think the cast is way too beautiful? I mean seriously, you will never see someone like John Abraham, Katrina Kaif, and Neil Nitin Mukesh walking around tge city and nonetheless be best friends. hmmm so unrealistic

reply

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Also, in real life, especially with teenagers, you see similar looking people hanging out together.

I bet you are realllly ugly in real life, so you are just mad at the fact that these three beautiful people are acting as best friends. Envy perhaps?

And neway, who cares? It will be pleasing to eyes so I'm OK with it.LOL.

I disagree...I don't think that if good looking people are working together it's unrealistic. If that were the case, 90% of Bollywood movies within the last few decades are unrealistic because they have ugly with ugly or beautiful with beautiful

I am definitely looking forward to this movie...hopefully they will act as good as they look (and better...if possible...)

>>>90% of the bollywood are unrealistic. But, not because they have beautiful people in it.

I see a bit of sense in what you're saying but I never got to the extent of caring about the film but yeah it's the worst film I've seen this year.

"There. There."

I don't know about the beautiful cast...but the portrayal of indian students in the US is certainly way off the mark. I mean look at how Neil Nitin's character all of a sudden transforms from wearing 'crisply ironed cotton shirts' to all funky designer outfits. And an Indian (john's character) being the jock in an american college campus..puhleez...haha. First of all american college campuses don't really have such an environment where there are jocks and nerds, they all sort of get mixed up in the crowd really unless its some small city college with a student population of 2000. I myself have lived in the US for 6 years (was a student for 4 years) and have never ever seen any Indian girl or guy dress and act all colorful they way the lead characters in this movie do. And NO, I never wore crisply ironed cotton shirts to campus...lol

There are of course the super rich or super dumb ones who do conform to such characterization, but they are far and few in between. And whats up with these Indian americans born and brought up in the US and yet speaking in Indian accents? And God knows what Katrina's accent is...it still beats me!

I love movies about New York... but not ones full of bug-eyed Indians. The title of this movie is misleading. It should be called Gunga Din Does New York: Thank You and Come Again!

reply

Maybe 1st time they were cast together like that.
