Can anybody who has seen the film tell me who they think stabbed Jimmy at the end of the film? The scene was dark, but I did see a face, and it was not of one of the skinheads--as you might expect--especially as the perpetrator looked to have a lot of hair!! And I don't think it was the snitch, Patrick, either. Who was it? And do you think Jimmy will survive or die in the hospital bed?
shareIt was the guy the group beat up in the beginning of the movie. There was a scene at the depot store where he recognized Jimmy and found out his address.

Until he stabbed Jimmy I didn't realize the guy they beat up was the guy at Home Depot. I thought he was flirting with Jimmy at Home Depot!
Flirting? Um, no. There was definitely a look of panic on both of their faces when they recognised each other. Perhaps Jimmy felt guilty/embarrassed/fearful that the kid would go to the cops. Perhaps the kid was having mini-flashbacks to that night and thinking about how much pain he went through.
Needless to say, that look that the guy gives Jimmy is not a look of lust; he looked like he wanted to beat the crap out of Jimmy, to inflict some kind of damage. Honestly, I was hoping that he would have exacted some revenge (like screwing up the flag pole order-- stupid i know), but at the end of the movie, he was totally off my radar.
So while it wasn't a surprised that Jimmy gets stabbed in the end, it was a surprise that it was the victim from the beginning.
