Hope They Make a Sequel for Next Christmas

This was a better than average Christmas movie, and there was unusually good chemistry between the characters in this film, so I hope they find a way to make a sequel next Christmas.

It was great to have Henry Winkler back playing this kind of character, and the little kid was adorable.

My wife and I got to enjoy this movie today on Hallmark channel, and yes it would be nice if they re-cast the same folks for a second. It was an enjoyable- light hearted- and uncomplicated movie. It's nice to see a good script with good but not over-the-top actors do a great job. Bring on part 2!

You must have been hired by the Hallmark channel to make such a ludicrous statement about this crap-fest of a movie. No one who has a brain likes it.

Some moonshaped poster can expect coal in his/her stocking!

This is certainly one of the better lighthearted Christmas movies of recent years. Just the right balance of sweet & funny with just the right twists to keep it from being the same as all the others.

I especially liked the "legend of the one red candle" rooutine.

I do not, however, see how they do a sequel without losing a lot fo the charm.

BUT - hire these writers for a new movie anytime.

Sooooooooooo, you polled everyone in the world with a brain to make sure you knew what you were talking about? Somehow, you managed to miss me... I found this to be a delightful movie and a cut above some of the Christmas movies of recent years... in fact, I liked it so much I managed to watch it four times and could have used one more viewing before the season was over... I'll look forward to seeing it again this coming Christmas... remember, lunarshape, your feelings about a movie don't make them true... it only makes them your opinion.

... the hardest thing in this world is to live in it...

It would be nice, although I wouldn't expect a sequel...oh well. And, I too, have a brain and found it very enjoyable and one of the better Christmas comedies in a long time.

I, also, thought it was very cute. For Holiday movies I don't really expect much, but this one was really nice. I would love to see a second film showing the next Christmas in the lives of these characters.

If nothing else, these movies are a nice break from the crime/murder/mayhem of most modern movies. It is nice to just see a cute family-friendly film that is enjoyable for all ages and not just a "kid movie".

I really liked this movie. I chuckled a lot at Uncle Ralph. One of my favorite moments w/him was when he was eating the tuna after they bought the tree. I feel the same way when I eat fresh tuna lol.

Not sure how they would plot a sequel. I guess it could be built around Morgan getting a restaurant or something. If those "Good Witch" movies can't get them, I don't see why some other flicks can't.

I think about 1.5 of those Good Witch sequels worked, so hey, one for this might. Still, I think it isn't really screaming for a sequel and the movie is largely about the mom loosing up a bit. A sequel would be a tad repetitive.

The restaurant idea is decent. I also like him eating and so pleased with the placement of the food on the plate, including (special pronunciation) the "vegetables." Lol. The wreath falling was a cute touch.

Half the movies ever made get sequels. Can't any of them just get left alone?

This wasn't even that great of a movie. I mean, it was a fun, lighthearted movie and I enjoyed it (despite it going through every tired cliche in the history of Christmas films), but it wasn't a classic.

"couldn't care less" = "don't care at all".
"could care less" = "care at least a little".

I really enjoyed this movie, it was one of the better made for TV x-mas movies. It isn't a classic, but I will add this movie to my other x-mas movies I watch every year (Miracle on 34th Street, A Christmas Carol, etc).

I agree about the sequel idea. They don't usually do those for Hallmark holiday movies, but the cast and chemisty on this one made it much better than the sum of its parts. Also, as someone pointed out, the whole house and "Chicago suburbs" location added a cozy, snowy Christmas feel.

I would like to see another one made.

The more I watch this movie, the more I like it and think they need a sequel. I think it's time to petition Hallmark's FB page.

Yes, I'd like to see a sequel to this too. Maybe have them married now, and trying to find a partner for Henry Winkler

This is one of my favourites. I must have watched it more than 20 times over the years, love the house......
I also believe that this movie needs a sequel. Both married by now, another 2 kids, his restaurant dreams came true, her mother retired and helping raising grandchildren, uncle Ralph feeling left out and deciding to move closer to family......at The Most Wonderful Time of the Year Part 2
