Ben is Very Cocky

I just watched this movie and at the end was very dissatisfied with the way the relationships played out. I find myself wanting Ben to lose and be wrong more times than wanting him to win. He is just too cocky and stuck-up. There is not one speck of humility in him at all, and so he will never be a hero that I could like. He never says he's sorry, he never thinks that anyone but him knows the answer, and he never listens to any other opinions. A very unlikeable young man.

So him wanting to find another way to save Elenas dad from the alien queen inside him while Gwen and Kevin were willing sacrifice him(kill him off)for the sake of everyone else(which was quite out of character for them) wasn't humility enough?

Out of all the actors I thought Ben was the best at portraying his cartoon character. Kevin would be second.

When I first watched the cartoon, like first episode, Ben kinda disappointed me because he DIDN'T have that kind of cockiness. I mean, the original series, he was ten and a hyper mess. I think he did a really good job of portraying young Ben AND older Ben.

Well, you could go back to the old saying that, " The end doesn't justify the means". If we didn't already know that Ben's actions would be alturistic, then I would still say that his attitude was cocky toward Gwen, Kevin, and Grandpa. Maybe I'm just tired of seeing 16 year old know-it-alls in movies :)

Have you ever even seen the series? Ben is arrogant and cocky. If you want to see a humble, considerate, introspective Ben, watch season 1 of Alien Force. But after that he goes back to his real self, and I wouldn't want him any other way!

Yes! Season1 of Alien Force lost all sense of Ben and Gwen's original characters. But by the end of season 2 and from then onwards I think he regained his real personality. And luckily it carried through to Ultimate Alien as well.

he is actually not if you have ever looked at the ben 10 animated series then you will think a lot different he is actually vey likable if you get attached to actors and only depend on their cuteness(lame) i think he is cut but i cant say that i like him with out meeting him first.
