So... how can you have a movie with a dead actress in it? She died in 2009, and this movie is coming out in 2014? HOW?

reply

Easy answer because it was filmed before she died and shelved for several years.
You see this happen a lot with movies that are stinkers because when they go to try and get it released ,they can't even get a Direct to DVD distributor to go for it which tells you how bad it is.

So then a few years go by, some independent company rooting through all the shelved movies for some reason sees a certain movie and picks up the tab to show it at their theaters, in limited release of course to cut down on the cost and try to make a buck if that - in the case of this movie, they are most likely trying to cash in on the renewed interested in the late Brittany Murphy. Either way, I can't see this movie even recouping production costs. It doesn't look any different than the million or so other B rated cheaply made horror flicks that come out every year.

Trick R Treat.....amazing film, a few big names, got shelved for a couple years before it finally got a direct to video release. Getting shelved is not always an indicator of how good or bad a film is.

If you mean the one with Anna Paquin, that was a really good movie, and very strange that it wasn't released right away. This one, however, should have stayed on the shelf.

Common sense tells you that this movie was filmed before she died and shelved for a few years.

A better question would be, how could anyone ask such a mouthdropping, head-slapping, stupid question?

Oh, I'm so sorry, darling. We can't all have your "genius" intellect.
