YES it costs $15 a month, YES it's worth it

It's an MMORPG people, and a damned good one. This isn't a multiplayer game that uses your console as a server; it's always up and running even if you're not there. MMOs require round the clock employees to keep a dedicated game world up and running 24/7, and to keep a steady supply of patches and content coming every week and month. MMos have monthly fees, get used to paying it if you want to play. Just because you're playing it on the PS3 and not on the PC doesn't mean you should be exempt from the subscription cost. There are free to play MMOs, but most of them suck, AND have premium content you have to pay for if you want to experience the full game.

If you really don't understand the difference between a MMO and, say, Call of Duty style multiplayer, don't buy the game as you probably won't be able to trade it in (the key with your copy links to your PSN account and can't be moved). You'll be missing out though, because this game ROCKS.

Aaah, buckle this.

Well, luckily none of us have to worry about that now. We can play the base game free and get even more if we pay subscriptions.
