Triangle, Dead Birds, Siren, Husk

Anybody notice the similarities between all of these films. I guess it must be a trend in the horror industry to utilize the elements all of these films have in common including:

A bad ending for the protagonist
Hallucinations (Have no idea whats real and whats not
Heavy reliance on foreshawoding
A group of friends getting lost
Main characters have no control over what happens.

Normally I can't remember the last three movies I saw, but with all of these tie ins its kind of hard not to notice

Thoughts?

I havent seen this or the rest, but Triangle was done quite well for a low budget film - and the acting was pretty descent. I will skip this one.

Did Triangle have a hallucination (excluding the idea that the entire thing was a dream)?

Agree completely... all have that "damned to your fate no matter WHAT you do" motif with that ambiguous explanation...
