What is with the black eyes? And please, can someone Explain the ending to me, I am, by no means stupid but I was completely lost.

Was the death of Jambo from Hollyoaks a pure accident? What did he see coming in the ceiling? Wasn't he dead when he grabbed his girlfriends arm? What was the beastly noise running through the reeds meant to be? What's with the black eyes? We're those kids dead? What was with the burnt dog? Which red wine were they drinking that was f@@@ing minging? ......HELP

Since they're all dead and stuck in a loop, It must be a bottle of that toilet-water they're stuck in.

Was the death of Jambo from Hollyoaks a pure accident?
I think the death of Jambo was an accident. They got stuck on the cages that the kids bodies were in though.

What did he see coming in the ceiling?
He saw one of the kids opening the latch in the ceiling. At the end it shows the kids running from the man with the shotgun. He was trying to get into the boat to hide.

Wasn't he dead when he grabbed his girlfriends arm?
I think he was dead since he had the same black eyes as the ghosts.

We're those kids dead?
The kids were dead, the old man shot them. They were ghosts and stuck in this time loop.

What was with the burnt dog?
The burnt dog was owned by the man that killed them. The old man said he didn't choose this, that the kids were the evil ones. He said they killed his dog and stole his boat. It looks like they burned the dog in some kind of ritual possibly.

It seems like the ghosts needed 6 people to take their places. 1 alive in the present (Laura and Croker), and 5 dead in the past (the teens and the couples).

That's why Laura's eyes turn black, she's trapped and has to relive the loop over and over until someone else comes by and breaks it.

That could be a theory, or it's just like that movie where the guy goes back in time to stop someone from killing another person setting off a whole chain of events which eventually blasts everyone into the future and the guy goes back in time to stop someone from killing another person setting off a whole chain of events which eventually blasts everyone into the future and the guy goes back in time to stop someone from killing another person setting off a whole chain of events which eventually blasts everyone into the future. There's no stopping it. And another theory is that Laura was killed in the blast near the boat towards the end and is another ghost that gets her revenge and then relives all of her painful memories that happened in the reeds.
