Don't hate on Efron!

Hey,

I am a 26 year old dude, that was dragged to see this movie with my brother and his GF. I am just an average dude.
Alot of people hate on Efron. Personally, I think he is fine. He seems cool in interviews, he was funny in 17 Again, and I thought Charlie St. Cloud was a decent watch.
Efron is okay, and it kind of irks me when people hate on him. Is he the best actor in the world? NO. But at least he is trying new material, and stretching. Decent movie, very corny and cliche, but solid see. However, wait for HBO.

Man-crush?! Haha. Bromance. Nah, but it is silly when people hate on someone, for no real reason. Efron okay in my book.

I'll be the first to admit that I was incredibly disappointed to find out Efron had been cast in this movie, but I was surprised when seeing the movie. I went in expecting to hate it, and I enjoyed seeing it. I don't think that he was perfect person for The Lucky One per se, because the character in the book was changed to fit Efron, but with what he had he did decent.

Efron is gorgeous, talented, smart, rich, famous, charming, modest, very hard-working, and the object of adoration by millions of females. So don't be surprised if some insecure, envious people get off on hating him.

I'm with you, I think he's okay. Also think he's gaaaayyyyyyyyy. Anyway, I saw this movie last night and there was something totally wrong with him. He had the same frozen look all the time, his eyes looked as if they were hurting. My guess is that he was high on cocaïne all the time.
This is not meant as hate on the guy, since I have several of his movies on dvd and like him in interviews, but it's a known fact that he's a user and the way he looked in this movie had me worried a bit.
