I mean, The Lucky One is a good movie, but I noticed the age difference between Beth and Logan is kind of awkward. I mean, she's old enough to be his mom and he's like, only in his twenties. Personally I thought their sex scene was awkward because to me they look more like a mother and a son than a couple.

She was hardly old enough to be his mother not by a long shot. Beth mentions that Senior year Keith was the Captain of the Football team and she thought she was in love with him. Then she got pregnant and he proposed to her. Thus she was probably 17 or 18 when she got pregnant her age depending on the time of the year. Then she would have been around 18 – 19 when she actually gave birth. This would make her 26 – 27 the year her son turns eight. Logan states he is 25.
