Your favorite scene in the movie

My personal fav is the bus scene when abhay deol reacts to the old lady. It was freaking hilarious!

One of my fav was when Paro and Dev D go for the shack in the sugarcane field. Although there is no one on the screen.. Abhay says "Uther haath muth lagao".. that scene split me up!

I loved the part where he gets the phone call from Paro in the morning, and the light from the mobile is so bright, that he has to put on his shades to see it. i broke my chair laughing.

The scene where he sees the nude photo of Paro and call her "mai aa raha hoon", so cynical and typical of the character.

For me the best scene was when he breaks the glass in Chanda's room and the glass shards fly and hurt him over the eyebrow..

All the scenes with Abhay on screen. What a brilliant actor!
Other than that the scene which interested me the most was when Paro was in Dev's Paharganj hotel-room cleaning up the place while he was taking a bath, she opens the door to a delivery boy who has brought some hygiene products that she ordered and he says to her something like "baaki sab neele hain, yeh magar hara hai" in a confused, disjointed manner.

Dev finds the Sardar (who dumped him earlier) and asks him to drop to the location and towards the end of the scene the Sardar says something like, 'I am sorry yaar.....'...As Dev walks off Sardar screams, 'Hello'....That was funny !

Just do many...
Paro taking the a matrress on a cycel to the cabe field.
Dev going with the pimp.
Dev walk back to the hotel with a whole crate of alcohol under his arms.
The scene where dev and chanda realize that they are worlds apart.

Dev meets Chunni for the first time!! The whole sequence where they walk to the pub..... underneath the neon of ... hotel g"RAND"... to the back alleys... to the hilarious shock of Chunnilaal being a pimp!! Beautiful.. audacious .... connotative!!

1 ] Just before the end of the movie when Dev (accidentally hits the roadside-charsi's jackpot box and) bends to pick up the scattered coins vomited by the phone booth and a car rams into the wall just next to the phone booth. In that scene Dev shows that he is a self learner and realises his mistake that he was fu(|<ing his life. He didn't even listen to Paro and continued screwing his life until that scene. Here the music Kicks-on "Ek Hulchul Si .."

2 ] Dev never acknowledged many people (esp the receptionist). After Dev hurls the cup towards the mirror "Emotional Atyachar - ROCK" continues and he speedily enters the brothel determined to have Chanda. In that scene he mockingly smiles at the girls standing near the walls near the small passage. That clownish expression was funny and that was the second best scene I feel.

I think this movie has some very cool, hipster elements, like the Twilight Players who subtly appear here and there and the surprise of their excellent B-boy moves in the nightclub--I love that scene the best. There are interesting film-making choices in the movie, not just the story itself. so that's another reason I like it a lot.
