So was Paro...

Really slutting around? I honestly couldn't tell. I thought it was just a big lie the first time I saw the movie, but paying attention to some of the comments during a second viewing, I believe it was actually supposed to be true.

which are those dialogues that made u feel she was a slut???can you elaborate??? I am also very curious about this subject...

reply

in the subtitles where Sunil is refusing to give Paro the key to his room theres an incomplete dialogue from Paro,

"You should be grateful..."

and then she gets angry. It seems open to interpretation, even though she does have that complete meltdowm later when she beats him up and tries to set his house/shack on fire.

reply

I didn't care much about that part of the movie
i mean when they were in the farm and he asks her how many guys you did that with and she still kissing him or whatever, no response?!
whether she was or not, she should've responded hard
if she was then she should've responded harder than if she wasn't.

It is never about what happened, it is only how you look at it!

reply

No she was not! If u remember, in between the song, which plays at the pre-wedding function, Dev overhears Paro's father's conversation with Sunil, in which Sunil says about asking forgiveness from Paro. After hearing this, Dev realises his mistake, and thats why he gets so drunk at the wedding.
I think d reason he never reconciles wid Paro after hearing that(obviously before d wedding, which was supposedly d next day), is that he was too egoist and immature in some respects. It was beyond his pride, and by d time he cud hv made himself up for such reconciliation, Paro obviously got married!
