How did Zhou Yu managed to create an exact replica of the letter of the naval leaders of Cao Cao? Or did i miss something?

I watched this film a long time ago. The two naval commanders of Cao Cao were actually loyal and had never written any letter. Zhou Yu just had someone forged the letter to frame them so that Cao thought they were about to betray him. At least that was what the book said and I believe that was the case in the film too.

Actually if you catch certain parts with Zhou Yu and Xiao Qiao and his friend from Cao Cao's army they mention several times that Zhou Yu can replicate anyones handwriting. He forged the letter making it seem as though the naval officers wrote it.
