The movie begins very slowly, the island is beautiful but it's mostly wasted, the cinematography and directing are very weak, the pacing is poor, atmospheric opportunities are missed, or poorly used... it just felt like it was on a page that didn't come together or fall into place. Maybe it was in part to none of the characters being written or directed very well, so none of them were likeable.

It wasn't a complete catastrophe, there was some interesting and unique qualities to the story, just a lot of execution problems.

I guess I'd rate it about a 5.

I only watched parts of this, it seems that there were some excellent parts to the movie, but mostly wasted opportunities.

This film had potential . Also if the main storyline had not been pushed aside altogether . Which had made the movie overall very weak because of it . Then perhaps it would have been a more effective ghost story overall because " the story legend " would have been more clear to us viewers . That would have held our interest even more so on this film . Thanks Kupotek for your subject post .

Sure thing. I try to review a film objectively before throwing in my personal feeling.

I'm the same way too . I like to give a film a chance and not judge it too harshly right off the bat . If I absolutely don't like a film or TV Show I just never watch it again either lol .

When a movie's really bad though it's important to mention that in the review, consider it the orange traffic cone quarantine treatment :)
