I didnt get it, can someone explain? (spoilers needed!)

What happened in the end? :S

Not completely sure myself! I actually had fallen asleep the first time I tried to watch this lol! However, I was dead tired from an awful day at work.

Let's try this! Since the actual killer (that dude that got beat up by the sheriff, I can't remember his name!) killed off (a majority of) the Seamstress' original cursed targets, she had to sacrifice seven others instead? Therefore, the curse had changed. Since she had set the curse to be kill her murderers and the true killer in order to pass on, she killed seven others and the true killer. Maybe she fulfilled her seven and then her final kill was just the true killer, she let the sheriff go. However his punishment isn't over yet, maybe he got lucky she fulfilled her kills beforehand, so he just needs to suffer and know that he tortured and killed an innocent woman and now has to live with that guilt forever? Or maybe the Seamstress knew that Allie would complete things for her and was just like I'm ready to move on!

I don't know! Did that make sense to you?!

If i remember correctly, Allie's father had written "All seven OR the real one." Yet, after the seamstress killed the real killer, the other bodies remained. Then Allie said that all seven AND the real one have to die in order for the curse to be lifted, so she shoots the sheriff, finishing the curse.

So as I took it, originally, for the curse to be lifted, either all seven of the vigilantes or the real killer had to be killed. However, since they changed the curse, all seven and the real killer had to be killed.

As for the other killings, I'm not really sure. Maybe she was just killing off people until she received her dues? Haha, who knows.

But kaiathegreat's idea does make sense.

The movie doesn't make sense

So, in other words, the "real" seamstress, the one who really murdered people, instead of the teacher who was falsely accused, was never caught or looked for at any point?

Glad I stopped watching this.

Even better : obviously the sheriff knew and let him go scot free for reasons unexplored and only reacted after others started dying. Quite a hole in this muddled script…
