The cold, wet, bone-chilling Pacific Northwest

Anyone reading this post ever lived in the Pacific Northwest, especially Washington State or British Columbia? Oregon is considered part of the Pacific Northwest but as you journey farther north it gets wetter and colder. You really see it in the background of this movie, 'The Seamstress". I spent some time in Washington State, on the western side where it gets rainy cold. The eastern side is dry cold. Cold, wet, and rainy are about as miserable as one can get. The cold goes through your clothes to your bones. I felt cold just watching the daytime background scenery.

I live in Washington State, about 100 miles as the crow flies from the most North West part of the U.S. as you can go and it is not as bad here as you say. You "spent some time" here...try me spending 60 years here. Our weather is ideal. Not too hot or too cold. My town RARELY gets snow. It does rain a bit but not as bad as you imply.
