I don't like the ending so... (Spoilers)

...I have decided that minutes after the final scene, the old fellow whose life was saved by the epi pen, has got out of hospital, having been issued with an epi pen of his own. He makes his way to the lake as he thinks that is where the fellow who saved him was heading, to offer his thanks. He finds him just in time and saves his life. The end.
