Great content, poorly done (yes its sexist)

Sorry, but the wrong person made this movie. I dont care if i come of sounding like a cave man here, but this was not one to be made by a woman. One that doesn't even drink alcohol and has Mike Hard Lemonade as her credentials in the beer industry.

She's a nice lady and all, and seems to have a grasp for the business side of things. But this movie was badly hurt as it showed it was made by an agenda driven person that doesn't really have a passion for the subject at all.

The overall cartoonish undertones, the comedic score made it seem like a joke was being made. The scenes of Ms. Baron crossing the street in search of the Green Valley Brewery, or stacking up the law books till they fall over, felt like a Bugs Bunny cartoon.

It was full of interesting information. Did a decent job of giving all side of the story. But even having it center around a charismatic Sam Calagione it felt like something was missing.

This movie should have been made by a man! A freaking man that drinks beer!!

I am a man, who drinks beer, but I disagree. I think it was easier to hold my attention, as well as that of my guests with the occasional comedic undertones. I sure don't think it took away from the subject matter.

That brings me to the next point; the subject matter was the business side of beer. She has passion for the little guys trying to make it in a corporate-controlled market. If the passion of beer is what you want, you need to watch a different documentary about MAKING beer.

While some of her style (for lack of a better word) is not to my personal tastes I think she did a good job and even you admit she has a grasp of the business which is what this movie was really about.

Does Michael Moore drink beer? Because I could see some similarities between their styles (similarities - I'm not saying they're exactly alike) but I think she did a better job than Moore would have.

The Green Valley Brewery and the stacking of law books were put in to make a point and the points were well made although I would have liked a little more delving into the history of Green Valley and how many other products AB makes that do not bear their name as well as the evolution of state laws.

Having said all that she is the one who made the movie. Any man including you or me can take on the project of making a better documentary about the beer industry. I just lack financing. Anyone want to donate? I'll bring the beer if you bring the money.

Overly serious fight-the-giant-corporation documentaries have become a dime a dozen. All the things you thought hurt this I thought kept it entertaining and set it apart.

Why would the sex of an individual effect a presentation on a beverage which has been around thousands of years?

My biggest problem with her is that she doesn't drink, not the fact that she has a vagina.
