Granted he's surrounded by people he hates, he's back at weapon x being tested on but...
i dunno felt like he was just some animal, no better than anyone else there at weapon x, there were really no redeeming qualities to his character. why is he such a dick?

he shouldn't be like this ever. he's one dimensional, flat. portraying him like this erases all the work chris claremont and did to give him depth. he ain't just some dumb berzerker with no personality.
shareI think your missing the point. It's from this starting point that he begins to develope into somthing more. He is a jerk but does have a sense of honor in him. He was never dumb but he was a berserker who after meeting with the xmen begins trying to pull away from his more beastial side. He makes his first comic appearance against the hulk so you are seeing him as he was not what he evolves into.

Fan favourite tend to be like that because they are unbeatable just like in this where there he faced no consequences during any of the fights.
Punch him half way across a forest and he's up immediately with no injuries unlike sabretooth who is younger and stronger.
I haven't worked out if the entire episode was a film equivalent of comic cis, pis or wis.
