what happened next for april...spoilers

after watching this fantastic movie i began to envision the next phrase she April, and her possible future

April stayed on at school and graduated from university, with a degree in art and social studies. she has travelled the world and has become a famous artist with her depictions of children in care. as well as teaching in a school for kids in care, like she once was.

As soon as Frankie's son's met her, they instantly fell in love and began to treat April like there elder sister. Frankie's wife saw her as the daughter she never had they became close...but not as close as Marianne of course.

Marianne eventually took over the running of the stately home, and installed some modern art features, some created by her own daughter...in fact it was a painting April did that captivated her to the public attention.

when April married, Frankie was the one who gave her away...and in the speech there wasn't a dry eye in the house.

at about the same time an article appeared in the press stating a prostitute called Pearl has died from a drug overdose...no one morned or went to the funeral!
