DIsaster of a movie
Bad acting, and a bad script that was very weak. It had potential, but was poorly executed.
shareI thought it was a decent low level thriller but, to me, the ending seemed a bit rushed.
I mean they spend the whole moving building up to it and in the matter of a couple of minutes she manages to get loose, bash the guy on the head, try and save her father, realise he dead, bash the killer's head in, flee the motel, run into her mother's lover, get into the truck with him and realize it was a mistake and the end.
I would say it really starts to fall apart the moment they i.d. the killer (which seemed so easy I assumed he was going to be a red herring)THEN they go to his place and find a dead body and all that.
From that point on everything seemed like they suddenly realized they were running out of time and were just running through the material to get to the end.
The whole thing could've benefited from much better pacing. It's kind of bad when your main bad guy is beaten that easily.
