I'm glad those so-called 'fans' are angry.

It's more outrage and unhappiness in their lives, which they absolutly deserve for being such a bunch of whiny, ungrateful and completly obsessed human beings. They are so irritated over mostly inconsequential changes made to the original trilogy, furious that the prequel trilogy didnt meet the insanely unrealistic expectations they had. The root of this "problem" is themselves, the way they are completly out of touch with reality and would obsess over something as trivial as a few digital overhauls in a movie made for entertainment three decades ago.

If they are angry and lose sleep over theses things, then fine. I consider it to be some karmic justice that their imbecile and pointless anger would give them a more miserable life

Damn straight, Star Wars fans, the diehards at least, are a bunch of whiny, abrasive dickheads. I mean really, you've got nothing better to do with your life than degrade George Lucas because he *raped* your childhood? If George Lucas hadn't *raped* their childhoods, they'd all still be virgins, that's a guaranteed fact.

Wow, you make some excellent points Mr. Lucas. Just kidding. You're right about these fans though; noone should ever let films affect them to the point of unhappiness, anger, and depression. It probably does reveal a lack of self esteem derived from personal relationships or real life achievement.

It sounds like you are the same age as this reviewer:

You're missing one major point: Even without being angry at all,
an objective assessment of the prequels and missteps like having
Greedo fire off a shot or Vader saying "Nooooooo!" in Sith and the
Jedi BluRay are evidence that Lucas is off his game.

The one area where I have to admit fan outrage (as depicted) was
unjustified has to be Indy IV. It was nowhere near the drop of
quality that The Phantom Menace represented.

But in fairness to participants in that doc, the questions evoke
the topic at hand. It is not likely that they walk around all day
with a cloud over their collective head.

The good news is that the new trilogy VII, VIII and IX won't have to
live up to the original trilogy so much. The bar is lowered
so you can expect less outrage from 40-something fans. . .
and maybe more from teens who miss Jar Jar.

Perfectly said, KittenCommunism. That's the truth right there. I wouldn't mind their disappointment, I mean we are all entitled to our own opinions, but the constant bitching and moaning... it's irritating. So with time, in my case, I just started disliking these haters to the point where their butthurt actually makes me happy. I love the prequels, don't care for much for the changes in the original trilogy.

I just wish Lucas could give these haters what they wanted. The original trilogy unaltered in blu-ray, not because I care about these idiots, but because they might actually shut up for once and let us real fans enjoy Star Wars in peace.

Whining about people who whine. The irony and hypocrisy are both strong with this one.

Of course, I've learned to expect nothing more from diehard Lucas apologists who don't give a damn about film preservation.

I'm Heather Langenkamp's husband in another universe.

Well, if you really love Star Wars - you must hate the prequels and the EU. Only Fanboys accept everything and say "YEAHH... GREAT...".

I'm very proud about the worldwide hate against the Prequels. Very proud! Because this hate means soooo much lobe for the real SW-Movies.!!! :-)

My Indy-Collection.
