I don't hate this movie; in fact I think it's the best of the series...but this film has the most out-of-focus close ups I've ever seen in a big-budget movie! Maybe I notice this stuff more than other people because I'm a photographer, but seriously, almost every other close up is focused on their ear or neck instead of their eyes. Distracting as hell.

What really bugged me was Avatar 3D. In 3D it feels like you are almost in a real world but when you look at any object not in the center they were all out of focus and that felt really strange, nothing like the real world at all.
If they could manage anything like focus over depth i think it would enhance 3D a lot, the world would suddenly become lifelike and "real".
