messy hair detracted

Kate's hair was the worst thing in this movie. Since when would a woman lawyer have hair stringing and dangling down over her face, when she's supposed to look professional? Would male lawyers ever do that? She sets back women's liberation by making women look ditzy. I mention this because her hair is front and center throughout this movie, and it gets messier and messier until it looks like a bird's nest. You can't ignore it. Even women with drug and alcohol problems comb their hair before they leave the house. You don't see lawyers looking that ungroomed in public, even when they're tired. I can't believe this cosmetic decision didn't bother other viewers. It detracted from every scene she was in.
