the footage of a young Malcolm McDowell sitting in a bar listening to his soul singer girlfriend sing.... where did they get this footage? it looks too good for it not to be the real Malcolm McDowell as a young man. i have been a fan for many years (since clockwork orange) and im blown away if thats a look-a-like

It's Malcolm alright! From the cult classic 'O Lucky Man'.
Well worth checking out! Very well edited into 'Suck'.

Thanks I just watched and was wondering which film it was edited from; tired of all the "it's crap" people. It's a spoof with intelligence.

I was wondering where it was from. It was too good to be a lookalike or a digital effect, I thought that it might have been edited in from another movie. It was very well done.

no, it's not old footage superimposed on the film. The special effects team had to clone Malcolm McDowell and adjust the clone to a younger age. After filming the scene, they fed him to Paré.

fantastic editing/technical job with those scenes of a twenty-something mcdowell...completely believable, as i've seen most of his early (60's, 70's) films. "eddie van helsing!" (l.o.l.)

"If ..." and "Oh Lucky Man" are worthwhile films well worth seeking out. As for this film, not so much.

I think the recycling of an actor's old footage has run its course.
