Alex Lifeson

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie (especially as a gigging drummer), but the highlight for me was Alex Lifeson of Rush - he was the border guard as the band came from Canada into the US.

The whole shtick about giving the kids a hard time before he finds out they're a band is great, but then the chestnut of "I was in a band, too!" just flat out killed me. Just awesome.

Man, just like in Trailer Park Boys, I totally didn't recognize him. I knew he looked familiar, but didn't place him until the credits! He was great in this.

Check out his acting in the "Trailer Park Boys" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0290988/) where he plays a similar role as a cop.

lol...Lerxst has been my hero for 30 years. The guy is a totally unknown comedic genius. ;)

I nearly peed my pants in public watching the vids from the Time Machine tour. XD

Wow, that was him? I can't believe I didn't recognize Alex as the border guard, and I'm a lifelong Rush fan.
