I loved this movie...can't believe it only has a 5.9 rating

I watched SUCK on Netflix recently and thought it was fantastic. Funny, likeable characters and actors, good music, and several clever touches (the rock stars casting, the McDowell flashback, the stop-motion hearse sequences). I'm amazed it has such a low IMDB rating (Maybe having "Suck" as the title turns people off? Or makes it easy to say "Yeah, Suck sucks!"). Maybe its ahead of its time? Or is SUCK going to be a cult classic some day?

So just because YOU like it, it should have a much higher rating? I think 5.9 is a bit too high for this. It was a pretty dumb movie, but it was just dumb enough to be entertaining. If it weren't for the fact that they got some film and music greats (Malcolm MacDowell, Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper, Dave Foley & Henry Rollins) to perform in this, as well as the ever so hot Jessica Pare, I probably would have never sat through the whole movie.

I kind of liked it. Somewhat like popcorn movie. It was entertaining and amusing. It had some decent actors

I liked it to some degree, music and rock cameos were awesome and there were a few funny jokes but it felt badly made and rushed, so I have it a 6 which I found very appropriate rating.

Hey willydoe dont think opening post was saying everyone should love a movie just because i do. He was clearly saying hey I must have seen Suck in a different way than others and was surprised at rating.

I totally agree Drew B. this will quite possibly become a cult comedy classic as the years pass by . Also with this memorable all star cast from the 1960's ,70's , and 80's ( how could it not right ? ) . I gave this movie a 10 and thought it had a clever & funny little storyline as well . Thanks so much Drew B. for your subject post .

I gave it 6/10. It's moderately entertaining, but I got tired of all the CGI. Without the appearances by rock stars, this films would have been a total snooze in my book.

I totally agree! I had never heard of this until I kept seeing it on the Chiller channel. I kept passing it by thinking it was going to "suck". I finally gave it a shot and was so blown away! I totally love the campyness of it! Great cameos, funny dialogue, awesome soundtrack, and the guy who played Queeny was amazing! Also, how they imposed Malcolm McDowell's face like that, super cool! I was very impressed with this movie and couldn't believe that with it having been out since 2009 I hadn't heard about it. It's definitely not for everybody, so hopefully it will become a cult hit, it's definitely going to be a cult favourite of mine now! =)
