Album covers

I can't believe no one has pointed this out, but who ,else noticed the recreation of album covers? We counted Abbey Road (The Beatles), Electric Warrior (T. Rex), The Kids are Alright (The Who), Beggars Banquet (Rolling Stones).

Maybe everyone on this board is too young to remember interesting album covers.

Really enjoyed this movie, btw.

How could you possibly miss "Born in the U.S.A." (Bruce Springsteen)?

There's a very good chance since "album covers" have been substantially smaller CD covers for 20 years... and for the past 5 years or so, they've been further reduced to infinitesimal thumbnails. There was a time when cover art was exactly that, but those days are long gone. Which probably explains the uninteresting cover for the "Suck" soundtrack that is only available digitally.

i just saw this and rushed here to see about those album covers:)
i picked up on the beatles, t.rex, the who and springsteen, but didn't see the rolling stones one, where was it?
also, there was a moment in the movie that looked to me like it could be an album cover, but probably isn't. It's at the 1:04 mark, right after the drummer says "i gotta call my mom" and gets off the couch.
anyway, what a awesome movie, i can't believe it's got such a low score here, this site must be infested with Twilight-loving teeny-boppers.

When Hugo goes to the bathroom, you can see many paintings on the wall; they're made with black marker. But the biggest painting on that wall is made with red marker and you can read "The Winners" on it.

It's inspired in the "Beggars Banquet" cover, 2002 reissue.
