why it costs $69 million to make a completely CGI movie? LOL

even if you grant that Steve Carrell got an over-inflated paycheck of say, a million, that's a lot left to pay all the puter geeks who toil at their puters all day and night.

Compared to other animated movies during this time I would argue that $69 million is low. It's half of what Disney and Pixar are funding. $200 million is a routine film budget for Disney.
