I feel like they all could of survived if they had just stayed put....

I could be wrong here but they would of all survived if they had just stayed on the lift. Yeah they froze at night but as we saw the sun thawed them out during the day. It may not of been enough to keep some level of frost bite away, but just enough to keep them alive. They could of survived 5 days without food if they had just sucked on those ice cycles for water.

By the time the girl got down it was Wednesday? Maybe Thursday? She had a little frost bite in some places, but other than that she was fine. So they could of all made it one more day.

SPOILERS:

I believe it's actually Tuesday when the girl finally gets down. I don't think there was enough ice icicles for them all to suck on to last until Friday.
They might have experienced other problems for sitting on the lift for 5 days and 5 nights like fatal blood clots in their legs. There was not a lot of room on the lift to move much.
The dumbest thing was when that one guy jumps about 50 feet within a hour or two of being stuck and breaks his legs and with the blood and broken bones sticking out it attracts the hungry wolves!
If he was going to jump at all he should have jumped when the snow bulldozer was right under them! At least he would have been seen.

Exactly. That would've been the only time I jumped.

I thought the same when watching it. The fact that one of them was able to get down safely goes to show that they should've tried crossing the cable and climbing down the stairs in the first place instead of jumping. Also they should've tried that earlier when they still had the strength. The guy jumping was probably the dumbest decision ever. The only reason why that other guy never made it was because the wolves were already patrolling the area but they wouldn't have been there in the first place if his idiot friend didn't jump and left a trail of blood attracting them.
