What is the message of this film?

Christianity is evil and God doesn't exist and if he do he is evil.

Ghosts exists and you should be afraid of it.
This film promotes pagan believes of worshipping the spirits of the forefathers.

Actually that in many religions priests and the elite threaten with Hell while they do whatever they want to their flock in their double standard. Which results in someone in the flock being pushed past caring about this threat killing the priest.
If you haven't noticed, this happens in real life. It has nothing to do with "Christianity is evil". If anything it was saying "Be wary of people claiming Hell is real and be wary of people claiming Hell isn't real."

The main character doesn't see "ghosts" of just dead people. He either sees "ghosts" of traumatic pasts or he simply hallucinates it all (based on traumatic pasts he wouldn't know about but does for the sake of the plot).

It was a poor completed film in my opinion but what it was trying to do is not hard to recognize.

But that's just me.
