You Brits did okay

Well I thought it was British made but it was the Spaniards who did and thought to set it in London with British characters for a better market. I was going to say good job but it turns out the Spaniards have made better movies than the Brits. There's REC too I guess. Keep it up. You Brits need to make something cool as well. Of course nothing compares to the US. Don't bother with the crap about US making Transformers and Twilight. We have plenty of great stuff and you know it.

So you're saying we don't have great movies?

Braveheart (1995.
Fanny Hill 2007.
Hellrairser.
Hellbound: Hellraiser II.

To be fair we are shaping pretty badly in a genre we used to rule in the 70s. Our horror films are terrible at the minute with the exception of a few great ones. 'Kill list' is great and 'Dog soldiers' and ' The Decent' earn us serious brownie points but everything else is just churned out, money wasted, crap. Correct me if I've missed any good ones out but the horror anthologies of 'Amicus' and 'Hammer' are, I do believe a hole in the market that would do great nowadays.
