Feist

Well, she's Indie Folk Darling Feist. A simple google or wikipedia search would clear this up. Anyway, she recently came into the mainstream in the past few years helped tremendously by the inclusion of her song "1234" in those iPod commercials.

Another fine product of the Canadian music scene.

She was actually up for a Grammy (or 3) this year...Though who really actually pays attention to those anymore.

Still, she actually does produce some pretty good music, and her music videos are alot of fun and very creative and artsy.

She's a Canadian artist - maybe she's a lot more popular or well-known up here because of her work with Broken Social Scene and Peaches, but she's been making in-roads into mainstream. Notably through the iPod commercial, but there have been others (though she apparently turned McDonald's down when they wanted a song of hers). Some people have (mistakenly, I think) written her off as a one-hit wonder because of the commercial. But all of her albums have been really great, her songs are all over YouTube and iTunes if you want to check out her stuff.

I was so excited to see her on the Christmas special!
