Would this work as an audio book?

I enjoy audio comics (favourite being a fan made killing joke on YouTube) and wondering will I find it hard to understand what is going on if I just listen to it (whole thing is on you tube) rather then watching ot all I'm bot a big fan of the motion comic animation they used so thinking of just listening to the rest.
Also on a side note how does this compare to the ultimate cut film?
I love the long version I always got bored watching theoretical film but the ultimate cut had me hooked to every moment
