Holy cow, you are right about that one. Sean Penn was so egregious in ATKM that it played like a parody. Now, Huey Long could be argued to be a pardoy of himself, but Penn wasn't even close to getting it right.

11 wasn't that bad, though. At least the director made a conscious effort to be tongue-in-cheek. I think they tried to be serious with Gangster Squad, but when it was unintentionally funny and corny they pretended it was meant to be that way. Like Pee Wee: "I meant to do that."
