THE REAL CARLOS (THE JACKAL) DIDN'T LIKE THE MOVIE

It's interesting that the real Carlos, didn't like the movie, he criticized some of the historical portrayals, namely that it was Gaddafi and not Saddam Hussein as it was portrayed in the movie who was behind the OPEC kidnappings, and that he never smoke cigarettes only cigars, and he also took issue with how amateurishly his group of commandos was portrayed, but the truth is that they did bungle their first operations, for instance when they tried to shoot the El Al jet liner with what looked like a bazooka, and his first assassination attempt, being able to only wound the victim. But in all his criticism of the series he didn't seem to have a problem with the actor's portrayal of himself. Edgar Ramirez did do a great job in his portrayal, and this actor is going to only be seen more and more after this series, he'll be playing Pablo Escobar next from what I hear. Another interesting observation about the real Carlos, is his amazing ability to seduce woman, with his latest conquest being his own attorney, not a great fox to look at, but interesting how even an intelligent woman, can fall for the bad boy, now she's fighting his cause. He was or is a very charismatic guy, although from the reports i read, he now is obese and fighting diabetes.

Interesting to read. I wonder why they altered the historical detail about Gaddafi? Or may be 'Carlos' has altered his version of the truth.

He comes across as intelligent and charismatic. He persuaded the PFLP to advance him as well as seducing lots of women. He was brave and audacious too, whether or not one agrees with his politics and methods.

it's an israeli cia propaganda against saddam, that still continues, the biggest lie ever is saddam gassing kurds in 1988 when it's khomeini who did it, and a report by american experts was published in 1989 to confirm it.

Little known fact that idiot chumps like you will never understand: it is actually more often than not "intelligent" women that fall for "bad boys"; and a person who is bitter at women because he's a failure, and thinks women who fall for real men are lacking in intelligence, is an idiot.
