This Movie/ Mini series SUCKED...TOO LONG AND TOO SLOW

Look we've all heard of Carlos the Jackal.

The name trembles as you speak it especially when Arnie said it in True Lies accusing Bill Paxton's character of being Carlos the international terrorist.

But wow, what a puss.

I mean you have the Opec Assault, after bombing a cafe and aiding the Japanese guys in their hostage taking...i guess I expected more of a bad ass when I came into watching this movie.

I gotta wonder that there is more to what he did than bang away hookers, any woman that would throw herself at him, get drunk and party the night away. Especially since he is a terrorist.

I expected more cloak and dagger, running around, chase scenes, shootouts, you know the typical addition to a hollywood-esque type movie.

Instead we got boring meetings between whoever they where. Overly detailed planning meetings.

Like right before opec and how they were dividing the weapons I thought I was back in ym childhood playing guns and dividing up those weapons "Oh I get the machine gun and the pistol...you get a pistol and a grenade..." is like who cares.

In Film school they teach less is more and someone forgot to teach this director and whoever the editor was.

The 3 parts of it where a waste of time really after Opec it was like who cares about this guy.

Yes, we get it he is like a rockstar in his world, women throw themselves at him, he gets blowjobs from all the ladies he meets, he gets drunk, and parties ok what else? Oh wait we are going to show that again for 3 more parts over 90 minutes each?

Yikes.

I would honestly avoid it. Unless you have a lot of time to waste and for that you might as well sit thru the lord of the rings trilogy.

In reality I couldnt finish all of it in one sitting usually with each part I would get bored after a while and need to switch to something else then come back to it.

3 parts about 90+ each maybe a day or two and it took me about a week to finish them.

After the last thing it was like wow, what a waste of time. I really do wish I could sue these people to get my time back or at least compensated for watching this.

The guy has problems with his balls which thank god they dont show the doctor grabbing them even though we've seen his peepee a lot thru the film. I guess someone didnt tell him that STD's back then were rampant and he just needed some penicillin.

so thats how the Yemen guys, or whatever those black guys were, turn on him and sell him out to the French.

Im sure thats how it accurately happened or whatnot but I wanted to be entertained not watch a documentary and it completely feels like a badly made documentary.

Throw some peonage into it, give it a little dazzle. Something else so its not hey he has a testicle issue, they drug him and put him on a plane with a frenchy to take him back for trial.
