LOL. This movie was annoying and ridiculous, but somewhat entertaining anyway. I wasn't rooting for the bad guy or the two victims ... they all deserved an awful fate. God. Nobody in this movie was worth pulling for, from the authorities on down the line. incredible.
shareyou are absolutely correct, you don't care who made it or not, this movie was so unrealistic it just makes you sick, no woman would make the choices she did EVER even think when she had MANY times to escape of make a way out, only time somthing ever happened was when they were in the middle of nowhere and noone could see anything, PLEASE!!!

It played on Lifetime tonight and I kind of enjoyed it, but it wasn't Shakespeare and it wasn't meant to be. Just a fun thriller. Parts of it were stupid, but over all- a thumbs up for me.

What do you mean? Maria Bello had main roles in a lot of mediocre movies (Coyote Ugly, Flicka, The Mummy 3, Grown Ups, Payback, Abduction, A History Of Violence), including Shattered, which had a very similar plot as Carjacked. She is one of the worst actresses around. If you see her name in the cast, you might expect a bad movie.
And Stephen Dorff, even if a much better actor than she is, appeared in some rather cheap movies as well as good ones.
Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)
