Michael's gay?! Wait I thought they knew that?

I haven't watched every episode, but I thought it was blatant Michael was gay? I didn't realize it WAS a secret. I mean, come on.

Yup, as I remember in the movie Mandela and Michael went together to the ball. (Shakespearean clothes...) - kinda liked each other...
Totally different version.
Yeah, random gayness makes no sense for me too. Not that it disturbes me or anything, but in comedies and tv-stuff gay people seem to be more frequent than in real life. Or maybe just I don't see the gay people around me???

Yeah, I was looking forward to Michael and Mandela hooking up like they did in the movie.

Me too.

Well it's a bit of a surprise. In the movie Mandella and Michael get together in the end. Instead they made them gay.

"It's around 4 o'clock. We've been here since 12 o'clock. Five hours is like enough."

Well the first episodes he is talking about girls all the time.
So it wasnt too obvius.

He just seemed so...flamboyant I thought it was a given. Maybe not to others though.

Me too. I didn't like that he was gay in this show.

You can't swing a dead cat in hollywood without hitting someone with a vampire script

Well I haven't gotten to a part where it revealed Michael was gay yet, but I'm only a few episodes in and was already starting to wonder. Plus he gave all that fashion advice to Cameron only for everyone to accuse Cam of being gay. I don't think shows really have that many gay people around. Most only include one or two, usually as supporting characters and any other gay people that pop up are usually brought in as their bf or gf. There were several gay people in my high school and there are in my college too. I think in real life you don't always know someone is gay unless they are really obvious about it.

Although I want to add that Michael being gay was probably thought up as the show went. He talked about girls a lot in some of the earlier eps.
