I personally prefer the original

This was OK, but it was too much of a carbon copy of the original. Not because it's a remake, but even in the dialogue. It's almost identical to the original, with the exception of a few jokes here and there.

The original was funny and had a unique British comedy style to it. This what felt like the same thing over again, but for Americans. I would've liked to have seen more originality in it.

At least Tracy Morgan has 30 Rock. Martin freaking Lawrence has got nothing.

I agree. The original was so much better. Can't believe they did a copy like this. It's just sad.

It's especially sad that a remake came our way just 3 YEARS after the original! I understand touching a film that's over 10 years old, but 3 years? That's just ridiculous. Hollywood is just desperate now.
