Anyone like this movie?

I thought this movie was pretty hysterical. James Marsden pretty much made the movie for me. I was pretty impressed with Chris Rock, too, although I do love him in almost everything.

I think I laughed the hardest when Oscar was convinced that the coffin was moving.

Don't talk about knights around Mark. It's a sore subject.

Though I did laugh at some points, the movie kinda sucked. The funniest character was Zoe Salana's boyfriend, seriously even with Chris and Martin in the film. Strange.
Edit:
--I saw James Marsden was the boyfriend.

I really liked it, it was very funny, i never had a theater that laughed so loud

I loved it! Saw the british one too, and it was stuffy and way too serious and unemotional, and pretentious. Not funny at all. But this one was a blast!

Put me down as thinking this movie hilarious! Haven't seen the first one, but I just put it in my netflix Queue. Thought the whole cast was great, especially James Marsden. Loved the Zoe Saldana character as well.

i had hopes for it being funny, with chris rock and martin in it but i barely even smirked, big let down for me, i was hoping tracy morgan would bust out hustle man and pick up the pieces after a while

laughs are cheap, I'm going for gasps

Definitely liked it and from what I heard during my showing with all the laughter I'm guessing I lot of others liked it too. I just saw it today in NJ after three weeks being open and for a movie doing little business it was a decent crowd.

All in all, a great comedy. On the same level as the original just like your two favorite singers doing the same song in a different key.

'Cause I'm Black you think I did it?

This movie was absolutely terrible. the several funny moments were all shown in the commercial. (basically oscar knocking the body out of the coffin scene & tracy morgans reaction to it....such a waste of comedic talents.
Neil Labute sucks...Wicker Man was funnier than this & that wasn't intended to be a comedy.

Good movie, I thought. It was good entertainment. Not a "laugh every line" movie but the humor also didn't feel all that forced, a mistake many comedies make.

Overall I liked it. James Marsden and the Frank subplots were the best part of the movie, though.

I liked it and so did the theater I was in.. Only thing was this one girl had the laugh of the girl from that Seinfeld episode (the one that sounds like Elmer Fudd sitting on a blender)

I enjoyed it as well. More than Kick-Ass and even more than the movie I saw in the theater the same day as this (Nightmare on Elm Street}.

reply

This movie was hilarious. Yea I bet seeing it the same day as Nightmare on Elm Street since that was a huge let down of a movie, made this one that much better.

This was okay and had some funny moments. I probably would have liked this a lot more if I hadn't seen the far more superior original first.
