It would be so awesome if they went that route... all lifelike computer generated like the game trailers and cutscenes in the game. They could do so much more then they could with live actors.
shareI've been following the whole live action tv series Lucas has been working on. sadly, all signs point to the possibility it may never get made.
Lucas wants every episode to feel like its own star wars movie. that means star wars level graphics and production values...which sadly is horribly impractical for a TV show. There's just no way he could turn a profit. So unless he compromises somehow, we may not get the show.
End of line.
I knew that it was a trailer for the game, but I totally agree I like the trailer. I love some of the cutscenes from video game animation. I actually wrote an article about it over at my site recently. I wish people were making movies that looked like that.
