Yep, I am officially obsessed with this show.

Departures is one of the reasons that I've decided to take a year off from my life and career and travel the world -- I'm in my 2nd month of solo RTW travel right now.

I am SO glad that a travel show of this quality with REAL people exists. It's absolutely inspiring, and opens your eyes to the extraordinary amounts of beauty and culture in the world. I'd love for everyone I know to watch, and hopefully become as as excited as I am to try to see as much of the planet as possible.

Andre, Scott and Justin (and the behind-the-scenes folks), you should be incredibly proud of this work that you've done, I'm sure that you are. It's important for people to see (maybe with Netflix picking up the first 2 seasons, more people will).

Well done, and thank you -- you've made an impact on me, and many others :)

I was the guy in S1 EP9 *beep* myself coming down the cliff, and I took them surfing after. Funny fact we got caught in a rip and it was getting dark but all ended well. About the drinking yes they know how to do that, they bring only the very best of duty free will them. Good people, not the show ponys some people are making them out to be.
