Crucial Part #1: My name is Abigail.
Crucial Part #2: I haven't read this book; so I had no idea what to expect.

I had the headphones turned down a bit and started to drift off. I was falling asleep--a little bit before the first maid ghost scene--and was almost asleep when this really creepy voice whispered "Abigail..."

I nearly jumped out of my skin!

I also did not read the book, so I didn't know what to expect either. I know alot of people on here don't really care for the movie (maybe because they read the book) but I thought it was pretty good for a made for TV movie. Just like you I too was like what the heck (to put it nicely),lol.

All in all not bad for a made for tv movie, i actually enjoyed it.
