Honestly, not that bad, my only gripe is *spoilers*........... ......

i think it was unnecessary to throw in the guy reincarnated as a girl and vice versa, but then again i guess as a guy that kind of werids me out. I guess the other was trying to make some kind of point like the whole soul is neutral , blah blah, but to me its kind of superficial kind of how Rowling all of sudden says after the fact dumbles is gay.
But overall not that bad actually, decent ghost elements thrown in, some romance, lot better than i expected. And if you are wondering, I saw it cause Jerry was in it and hes been one of my fav actors since sliders.

They're just following the book on the reincarnation aspect.

yeah i know, i directed my comment at the author, but i guess its a chick thing, so i dont know it adds some kind of sensitivity or some stuff like that; oh well still decent movie

It was done before in a movie staring Kevin Brannagh and Emma Thompson, 'Dead Again', 1991.

That threw me for a loop as well, and I'm a girl. Not so much storyline wise...it's just that I insert myself into the characters and just couldn't wrap my mind around the idea that I was feminine and now masculine or vice versa. Nothing about judgement or prejudice. Just on a personal level I think that it would do a head trip on me to remember myself as both.
