Syfy...Imagine Greater
Maybe Syfy's new tagline means that to enjoy their crappy original movies, you must take what they made and imagine it greater.
And since when was Medusa of Ancient Greek myth in freakin' Camelot?
First off let me say, I despise the Sci-Fi channel. Primarily because it's not a sci-fi channel at all 99% of the time. For marketing reasons they've decided that horror, and classical mythology are sci-fi. Now they decide that changing their name to syfy somehow makes them more desirable to their viewing audience. If they want to please their audience they should remove 90% of their self-promoting commercials and reduce commercial breaks frequency by 50%. When they actually do science fiction it borders on brilliant, and often surpasses even that mark. But the rest of their programming is pathetic. Wrestling, and monster movies have no place on a sci-fi channel. It's a shame a real science fiction entertainment channel hasn't come along.
