What was in Luke's backpack ?

He carried / swam with that backpack all the way to the end and then ditched it to swim faster to the island. If he never used it the whole time why have it to slow you down ... but what was in it / what was it for ?

reply

A light sabre.

Too bad those don't work in the water.

Actually they should as light does travel thru water.

Edit - Of course you might also end up boiling the water around you which could be hazardous to the wielder's health.

Seriously ... what was in the back pack ?

reply

The bandana he used to tie over her wounded foot.

When he takes that out, you get a quick look inside the bag, but to be honest I couldn't make anything out.

That was my thinking ... what could you possibably put/want/need in that backpack.

reply

Condoms.

Don't forget they were swimming towards a deserted island. What else would they have to do there to kill time.

wasn't the waterbottle in it ?

reply

The sausage from an earlier scene. Unfortunately, he forgot all about it and the shark was in the mood for some pork products. Poor shark, those pesky humans kept throwing themselves in front of the back pack!
